On the purpose of the conference
Submitted by the Secretariat
Recognising that the world’s hardest questions are settled, one clause at a time, by people willing to listen before they speak,
Convinced that students who research, negotiate and draft together learn to disagree well,
Noting with appreciation the delegates, chairs, faculty advisers and schools who make each session possible,
- Welcomes delegates from schools across the region to committee sessions at Pathways School Noida;
- Encourages first-time delegates to attend, with a training session before the conference;
- Commits to thorough background guides, fair chairing, and awards judged on diplomacy as much as on debate;
- Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.
